IMPORTANT SAFETY RECALL

Empower Brands of Middleton, WI Recalls PowerXL Dual-Basket Air Fryer Models DUAF-005 and DUAL-10 because the U-shaped connector which connects the two baskets inside of the DUAF-10 Vortex Dual-Basket Air Fryer (10 qt) and DUAF-005 Vortex Dual-Basket Air Fryer (9 qt) can break during use, posing a burn hazard.

How to identify if your product is affected by this recall:

  • This recall only affects PowerXL Dual-Basket Air Fryer models DUAF-005 and DUAF-10. These models are unique because you can use them as two separate baskets or as one combined basket. You can check the model of affected air fryers by looking at the rating label. The rating label is located on the bottom of the unit, or a tag attached to the power cord. If you have an air fryer that is affected by this recall, immediately stop using the recalled product.
